I doubt you own the background image.
It's funny how you add velocity instead of replacing it, it's both good and bad, but the bad outweights the good. There's much needed to be added, but still, congratulations on making something functional.

thank you it's my first game

Wow, didn't ever in my life expect to see a Freddy clone made in Scratch.

What to say - it isn't even functional, stinks like shovelware.

AU-TaleYT responds:

did ya read the controls in the desc?

Ho boy, you have much to learn...

This game is a classic example of unfun, rookie design. Don't worry, my first games were like this too!
The light controls are too cumbersome, and a precission platformer with vision this restrained is just annoying.
The control scheme is kinda ok, until the elevators are introduced - now you need arrows, space and the mouse, three hands to operate the game, why would you break the flow this much?
The best solution for both problems would be to have the light face the mouse cursor, this would actually make the game have much more sense to it.
There are also minor annoyances - almost no interaction has a visual response whatsoever, when you click "next level" you get the Level Select screen instead, the music changes and resets too often, making the thing extra annoying.

I've given up at the second level because of the negative ammount of fun I was having.

Still, I applaud trying your own ideas, this means there's a designer waiting to be unleashed - keep improving and you may be very good :)

What a saga of hatred!

At first I got syked out that it was just a cheap attention grab, that doesn't build on the original, but no, there were new ideas ans you did a good job.

Very juicy!
But man, that boss was hard, it was hopeless untill I randomly brutforced myself into a favorable position and took the win.

The idea is there, but it seriously lacks proper juice. Had a hard time figuring out how to fight spear people.

It took five people AND five weeks? Ho man, you have to be new to this game making bussiness.

The models and the textures were nice, the sound design was terrible (unpleasant music for no reason, footsteps sound that resets with every keypress, completely wrongly matched sound effects for various things).
The core gampelay is as dull as it gets - you simply just walk around, at least it's not overly slow.
The level design was at rookie level - nothing smart was going on, you are just presented with doors and have to get through annoying motions to get the key. The waiting required for the obstacles to move away added to the feeling of impatience.

The game is neither fun or clever, but I hope to see you improve in the future.

The aesthetics are partially improved, compared to the original, but also they are internally conflicted. The outer boundaries are a little unfair, other than that this game is quite easy.

Quite enjoyable!

Liked the artstyle, almost liked the music, the gameplay, while really simple, didn't become boring too quickly. I don't know if you know, but the spiders don't despawn, allowing for infinite grind until you are overpowered.
The game has some minor design flaws, like shields being completely unviable, or the spell description giving more of a flavor than actual explanation what it does, but still, very solid game.
One major flaw I can recall is the rather incorrect use of this perspective - there are no shadows, so you can't really feel where the hitbox of the projectile is, and also not being able to go behing a wall felt a bit wrong.

Great job!

ErikSwahn responds:

I see. I will think more about that in future games. Thanks for playing!

Yeah, it's rather impossible to beat a game without gameplay, good job.

I make edgy stuff when I don't slack off too much.
