Great, simple yet effective design, worthy of the praise!

That's a big ass window size for sure. I have a 1080p monitor and I can't have it all in one view, consider downsizing the window.
As usual with your games, it's very juicy, you've mastered a very important ingredient. The point to kill mechanic was surprisingly fun. The aesthetics were very nice.
I've encountered a boss in the graveyard and it constantly clipped through the walls, can't tell if it's intentional. The music during this boss was unbearable, I'm sorry to say.
Still, a very impressive piece of game for a jam, it's a shame I've had no time to participate.

Nice little game, I can imagine it being a great time sinker :)

I'd only juice it up a little.

The idea is kinda there, but it's barely fun, and I can't get past that wall at the bottom (turning off collision doesn't work).
Still, very juicy and well made for a jam game!

ExpressedUnity responds:

For the end wall, You need to disable collision that set gravity to around -2 or -3 after that shoot at the ground and make the bullet bounce up!

Thank you for the feedback!

Maan, that's a little bit too little of a game to belong in here. Hoping to see you get better though!

As a fellow gamedev I agree - this game offers too little to be on Newgrounds.
I of course congratulate you on making your first steps, I can see those physics and control scheme put to great use, but as for now, this game has almost no substance.

Newgrounds is a site, where non-dev people come to play games, expecting compelling products. Feel welcome to upload once you have this, because the game above is borderline shovelware and it's against the terms of use you've agreed upon.

CodeCapsule responds:

I never marketed this game to be spectacular or cool ,I just wanted to upload my first game ,expecting to receive constructive feedback to improve as a developer and programmer .

But unfortunately ,newgrounds isn't a game developer site with game devs as the community ,it is for gamers that like playing games online or don't play on console or steam .

I understand ,I will come back uploading games ,when it is something that has more content .

Maaan, non-english text, unexplained controls or mechanics, this is rather bad. Will rerate it once you make it playable, so don't worry :)

After Update:

Now it makes a bit more sense, it feels like Mario without satisfying controls. It's a shame that you lose when you get to the end. Also, the cannon minions shoot backwards, you may want to fix that.

Yeah, those Souls are sure bad, good thing From Software scrapped them :D

Nice and funny, but I think you should shorten the backtracking and telegraph the attacks more. And yeah, the golems may be a bit strong.

Andreaspoiss responds:

Yeah, the map is way too big for just a boss-rush game, so I'll tone it down until I get some kind of sidequests or minibosses into the game. A good way to make the distance smaller would be checkpoints, forgot to add them, so that's also an objective.
While testing the game I also ran into the problem that the enemies attack too fast and don't really give you time to react (especially the final boss) so that's a major problem for now. I'll probably remove the game because of the amount of problems that need to be fixed. anyways, thanks for feedback!

Simple, yet very juicy!
It was a bit hard to figure out after I've accidentally killed the tutorial screen, but once I knew what was happening it was easy, even though I'm bad at games with precise mouse aiming.
The screen effects surprisingly weren't annoying, there's little to complain about, but still there's something:
The difficulty or spectacle should ramp up with time, because after about ten dots, it became boring already. Also, new dots appearing is hard to spot in the particle noise, at first I was confused why do I even take damage.

Still, great job!

RandyRandom responds:

Thanks for the input!

As a person that can be considered a Game Maker pro I can tell you, that there's much to improve.
First:
When you do games in a perspective such as this one, only the area around the feet should be a hitbox. You can make it so by editing the sprite's mask, it's very easy.
The lack of tutorial is fine, the game isn't that hard in terms of controls, but the doors should have some visual feedback, because they look like they are closed, even if they aren't.
The same applies to the boss - at first I thought I should wait it out, but it turnt out I have to press space twice when below him.

Hoping to see you improve in the future, feel free to ask in DM's if you want to have how to do something explained.

I make edgy stuff when I don't slack off too much.
